Simon West DipPFS

Simon joined Hulbert West in 2000, becoming the majority owner and Managing Director in 2008. Simon has over 25 years’ experience in financial services and holds the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning along with advanced qualifications in taxation, trusts, and pension transfers. He has specialised in investment management since 2009 and oversees Hulbert West’s investment propositions. He is committed to putting Hulbert West at the forefront of financial planning advice in Norfolk, providing tailored, trusted financial planning services that meet each client’s individual needs and delivers positive outcomes. Outside of work, Simon lives in Wicklewood with his family, enjoys making his own cider and practising Shotokan Karate, in which he is a 4th Degree Blackbelt.

David joined Hulbert West in 2007, becoming part owner in 2008. David has worked in financial services since 2000 and holds the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Professional and highly skilled, David delivers top levels of personal service to clients, and is able to deal with the most complex and challenging financial planning need, tailored to each clients individual requirements to deliver positive outcomes Outside of work, David lives in Hethersett with his family and is an avid follower of Norwich City Football Club.

Lee Foulger

Lee Foulger

Lee has worked in financial services since 2000 and brings a wealth of experience to his role as Operations Director. Over the course of his career, he has undertaken a variety of positions, including administrator, paraplanner, and operations manager, providing him with a full understanding of the advice process and how best to support clients. Lee oversees the running of the firm's day to day operations to allow the advisers to focus on working with clients, as well as ensuring the Hulbert West team has the systems, processes and support they need to deliver the best possible service to clients. Outside of work, Lee lives in Horsford with his family and enjoys socialising, football and going to gigs.

Tom has worked in financial services since 2021 and holds the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Tom enjoys the technical side of financial planning and in his role as paraplanner supports our advisers in researching and formulating solutions for clients. With a detail-focused and methodical approach, Tom helps ensure advice is accurate, compliant, and tailored to individual client needs. Outside of work, Tom is a keen golfer and a committed Norwich City supporter.

Eleanor Dowdall

Eleanor Dowdall

Eleanor has worked in financial services since 2019 and plays a key role in ensuring our advisers can deliver the best possible service to clients. Eleanor manages day-to-day administration, prepares documentation, and supports the smooth running of client reviews and meetings. Friendly and approachable, clients can rely on Eleanor to handle their enquiries efficiently and with care, while also coordinating with our advisers to keep everything on track. Outside of work, Eleanor enjoys socialising, country walks and baking.
